“A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!" Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions

Bush 'caught short' at UN summit

It's a situation anyone could find themselves in - having to answer the call of nature in the middle of an important meeting. But when you are the US president, at a gathering of more than 150 world leaders, it is even more tricky. While talk at the UN world summit was focused on terrorism and internal reform, George W Bush appeared to have been caught short. And, he is said to have turned to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for advice. " I think I may need a bathroom break? Is this possible? " a Reuters news agency photographer caught him writing in a note to Ms Rice. The photograph, and Mr Bush's apparent request for permission to pee, has been the subject of discussion on a number of satirical websites. President Bush was among monarchs, presidents and prime ministers for the opening of the three-day summit, marking the 60th anniversary of the UN. They are 25-year-old Nicholas Lim Yew and 27-year-old Benjamin Koh Song Huat. A subordinate court was told that both their blogs had content that cast aspersions on the Malay community. This sparked off a heated discussion online. The charges read that Lim had, on 16 and 17 June 2005, posted anti-Muslim remarks on the general discussion forum of www.doggiesite.com. Koh was alleged to have done the same on 12, 15 and 17 June on another website, www.upsaid.com. In doing so, they are alleged to have committed an act which had a seditious tendency.
