The Fellowship - 14 Jun 05

Fornightly Care Group: Join in for an awesome experience and be greatly blessed :)

Present: Eugene(CareBear Leader) & Abigail & EzeKiel(son), Louis & Ivy, Charles & Eliza, auntie Dorice, Lydia, Joycelyn and myself.

We had a round of great testimonies and savory food.

Discussion Topics:

1. Have you ever loose anything (thing, person, etc) that is very significant to you? How do you feel about the lost?

2. Have you ever loose anything (thing, person, etc) but was recovered and returned to you?

3. Do you believe in Restoration?

What insightful thots we had...We all looses some things in our life journey. Some may be significant, some maybe not. The challenge is usually the overhanging feeling and constant hoping that someday it will just appear itself.

But as days, weeks, months and years go by, we slowly begin to discover that we are somehow able to let go and no longer hung up. Yes, material things are transcient in our life. But what about our love ones? Is that transcient as well walking on this planet?

I have lost alot of material things in my life journey so far. I was cheated during my primary school days. I lost my very first cellphone. Finders-Keepers will be here to stay. Very often, these are 'educated' folks as well. But the thot of it is that how could they see that as a personal "GAIN"??? This runs contrary to the widely accepted phrase of "No Pain, No Gain".

One always ponder when found something. Our inner self will know what's right or wrong, however, the keeper's mind resist and consume the subtle message of the soul. Are they lost souls? Maybe...maybe not...but someday the light will appear. The Lord will touch the keeper's life.

Thru the transformation, one will discover that the Lord blesses abundantly and exceedingly with many folds of restorations. What's lost will be replaced with greater goodness that surprises one's imagination!

After the awesome sharing, it's time to say grace before filling up our stomachs :P Thanks Auntie Dorice for contributing the best chicken curry i've ever eaten. Spread across the supper table, we had multitudes of good food. We just happily indulge ourselves and had some great fellowship.
